Richard Dean Holman was born and raised in Australia by two film professionals whose work took them all over the world. He learned his trade and passion from his parents who shot various footages of wildlife, landscapes, etc. for film and television.  

It also gave him an adventurous spirit. When he was old enough, he traveled the world. As fate would have it, he would go to the Philippines, in particular in Puerto Princesa, Palawan where he met the woman who became his wife, Amelia, who worked in the resort he stayed in.  

After courting her in the traditional Filipino way, he married her and took her back to Australia where they started a family. Unfortunately, Amelia’s father had a major stroke which drove the family to fly back to the Philippines to care for him. He required constant care and as Amelia’s family were not rich, Richard had to find some means of helping out.  

As they say, necessity is the mother of invention, he stumbled upon the idea of audio-video production where he would produce ad videos for various resorts around the area as well as renting out equipment for filmmakers and covering events like weddings and birthdays.  

This small business gradually became quite profitable in just a few years. His father-in-law passed away from another huge stroke and they decided to stay for his mother-in-law.  

Richard is still based in Puerto Princesa and currently lives there with his wife and three children, Richard Jr., Maria Elena and Maria Regina.
